We Are Expanding!

Gita Nagari Introduces Gita Valley

Founded in 1974, Gita Nagari, where “Gita” means “the Song of God” and “Nagari” refers to “the place”, has evolved into the expansive Gita Valley. Gita Valley has been introduced as an extension of Gita Nagari to amplify our outreach through workshops, education, and retreats, centered around sustainability and social impact. Inspired by the life and teachings of A C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, regarded as the world's pre-eminent exponent of the teachings and practices of Bhakti, we aim to create a space where individuals can learn, grow, and connect.

"Human society, at the present moment, is not in the right condition. Forgetting all other duties, we simply engage in the reckless exploitation of the planet’s resources, with no thought of the future. People can live a life of simplicity and spirituality, utilizing natural resources responsibly and maintaining harmony with nature, which is the ideal way of life." — A C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, "Bhagavad-gita As It Is," Introduction
