"I recently had the pleasure of visiting Gita Nagari for a retreat, and I have to say it was one of the best experiences of my life! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. First of all, the surroundings were absolutely stunning. The farm is nestled in the heart of nature, with rolling hills, lush greenery, and a serene atmosphere that immediately put me at ease.

"Beautiful heaven 😍 no slaughter humane cow farm. You can stay in their comfortable cottages, feed the cows, hike the beautiful trails or have their vegan food. There is a temple as well for yoga and meditation. They have volunteer opportunities for kids as well. Highly recommend."

"This hidden gem is about 150 miles for DC, buried in the Amish, rural part of Pennsylvania. The sprawling farm is tastefully arranged for long nature walks, a soothing creek for picnics and several varieties of trees for the arborists in us.The animals are the most attractive part of the farm. There are about 80 cows gazing peacefully in the meadows.

The people here are super nice, the food was great and I loved spending time in nature and the work was really fun. My time has been super transformative. I love being a part of the community with people who have similar values to me and I've really enjoyed learning about sustainable agriculture.
I loved being able to work in the barn with the cows, getting to know them and milking them. I've loved working outside in the garden, in the greenhouse, out in the fields spreading seeds - no matter what we do, I really enjoy it. I love that the staff has been very welcoming and the students have been very welcoming and everything's just been great.
I've had such a meaningful time here. The emphasis on intentional community, speaking with kindness, and working together has been a refreshing change from urban life. Being in harmony with the seasons, noticing small and large changes, and spending time with the cows has been beautiful. Every task feels important, and I’ve appreciated everyone’s care and dedication.

For me one of the most impactful things about this experience is the people that I got to meet - both the residents of the farm and also the other students who came. We all came here with a similar intention of being open-minded and to be more open and honest with ourselves and that allowed for really unique relationships. It was a special combination of people.
